Hi All,
I developed the issue collector form for collecting problems related to my project, However I am trying to share this with Non-Jira users. Does anyone know which link or how do I share the issue collector page with Non-JIRA users?
Hello Saloni,
If you've created the issue collector form and have all the admin rights to do this. You should be able to click the name of the issue collector form (not the edit button). This takes you into a preview and at the bottom is a HTML/JavaScript snippet of code you can then embed into your desired webpage.
Hope this helps.
Thanks.
John

HTML/JavaScript snippet of code you can then embed into your desired webpage. could you please elaborate this point? i am a non admin JIRA user my IT team provided me a HTML/JS script to embed but i don't have any website of my own, in that case how to proceed, where should i embed my HTML / JS script? thanks

Hello. Can you see the Issue Collector option in your project settings? If you cannot then this will need to be added by your system admin. If you can see it then let me know and i'll see if i can help.

Hello John,
Thanks for your response.
yes, i can see the Issue Collector option and also I am able to submit the request and it leads me to get embedded code in the form of HTML.
But the HTML needs to run someplace that non-Jira-licensed users can link to. The HTML invokes the jQuery UI to enter data, and then it enters that as an issue in my current project. Is there a place behind the factory firewall we can put this where non-Jira-licensed users can involve it? Some place that will also link well to Jira?
thanks,

Hi Raj,
You will need access to a website and be able to edit the source code. Or if you have a SharePoint site if it's internal, you will then be able to paste in the snippet of code generated by the Issue Collector. Your company firewall may need to be adjusted as it will be invoking code which IT (may) flag as malicious so it's worth involving them. To summarise, as long as you have read/write access to the website, the issue collector should work and pop when the user clicks the link in the published website. The issue they create will then appear in JIRA and can be assigned as normal.
Thanks
John
