Hi All,

I have a JQL and i want it to return just number of issues in that query. I tried script runner by creating script field but if some user want to make changes to that query he should have admin access and we dont want to give that to users. Can someone help me with this. We have a gadget for"Days remaining in sprint",it will return only days remaining in the open sprint. So we need same with a JQL to return issues count.

You can use Enhancer Plugin for Jira's Metrics gadget for issues count.

You type JQL, and it calculates the issues count for the JQL and caches it.

Thank you. It seems to be the same what user wants. But its not free.

Sorry, I missed this answer.

Metrics feature is separated from Enhancer Plugin, and now SnapMetrics is available on Atlassian Marketplace which is a free app.

If you have Confluence you can just add a filter to a page using your JQL.

Hi, will that filter shows only issue count or will it return all issues?

Thank you
