Hello!
When viewing an issue, there is a 'workflow' button at the top that, when clicked, reveals a dropdown menu that contains the available status.
One of them is "Ready for Stage". When clicked, the issue transitions to "Ready for Deployment", which is actually the correct status. However, it's confusing to have the menu say "Ready for Stage".
I suspect that "Ready for Stage" was a status that was created at some point and made part of the workflow, but is no longer used and for some reason the name persists in the menu.
See screenshot.
Where do I go to change that?
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!
Brain,
What you are seeing in the drop down is the transition name. If you open the workflow you will be able to see the transition "Ready for Stage" from one status to the status "Ready for Deployment". All you need to do is edit the transition and update the name to Ready for Deployment. This will fix your issue and then the status and the transition will be named the same.

Thanks for the reply, Brant. "Ready for Deployment" is set to allow transitions from all other status. There are no transitions leading directly to this status. Furthermore, there are no transitions called "Ready for Stage" in this workflow. Any ideas where that transition might live?

Edit the workflow and rename the transitions that aren't clear. And remove any you don't need.
Have a look at the project's admin page, find the workflow section and descend into the workflow. If you are an admin, you'll be able to get to the edit function in there.
