I am able to create issues from outlook using the plugin. However, these issues don't show up in the project. I can recover them by selecting another issue and changing the URL to reflect the new issue's number, but otherwise can't pull them up. How do I get the plugin-created issues to show up?
Matthew,
Welcome to the community.
What type of issue is being created? (Is it Jira Software or Jira Service Desk) When you say it is not showing up where are you looking Dashboard, Project, Queue? (Can you share a screenshot) Are you able to find the issue if you search using a filter on the project? Since we know the issue exists my guess is something just needs to be tweaked so you can view it.
Hi Brant,
I'm creating a task using the Jira Cloud plugin. I believe this is Jira software.. If I go to the project, the issue is not shown on any of the Kanban boards. The outlook plugin doesn't make an reference to the kanban boards or scrum stories, so I'm wondering if it needs classic in order to work? The issue does show up if it has been assigned to me on the dashboard. I just want it to show up somewhere in relation to the project view if possible.
Thanks to anyone who can help!
Best,
Matthew

Is it possible that the issue is created in the backlog, so that's why you don't see it on the board? Can you check there?
