Issues not archiving at the end of a sprint

Vincent August 2, 2023

Hello everyone. I have come accross an issue since 2 weeks now : my issues that are done does not disappear from the sprint llike they used to.

I have multiples projects on my account and all of them works fine except one where when i end a sprint and add all tasks to the next one, issues that are done and that are supposed to archive doesnt for some reason and Jira doesnt detect them as done.

I tried looking up my worflow and i have the basics, never modified anything on this project...

If someone knows what i'm missing that'll help me a lot !

Hi @Vincent

What is the configuration of your Sprint board and in what status are your issues.

Seems to me like your issues are not burned. Can you check your sprint report and burn-up or burn-down reports.

Because closing a sprint and all issues are in the next mean that they were not marked as completed in the previous sprint

I use the software template for this project and my issues are in "done". What i dont understand is that we've changed nothing, project's been running for 6months with 100+ issues being archived when they're done and another sprint is running but now for some reason it wont work ... ^^

I tried marking all issues as "in progress" and then "done" again and reopening another sprint but doesnt work either

Vincent August 2, 2023

I have 4 columns : To do / In progress / Done / Note (To do)

Hi @Vincent

This is your workflow.

On you project you have an Active Sprint board. what is the configuration of your columns there.

Example:

Hi @Vincent

So your config is wrong on your sprint board.

the status Done should be in the last column. That is where for your item in a sprint is marked as complete.

In you board this is the status "Note", not the status "Done".

Hi @Vincent

Yes the column order in a Sprint board is key.
