Good morning everyone!
I'm working on testing an upcoming migration. My team is using JCMA, and we're gradually getting our heads around the process. When I'm in the migration console, I'm seeing the option to initiate the migration from our cloud site instead of through our on-prem instance. My question is: is there any difference in these two methods? Is it the same migration, just different places to click the button?
I have looked through docs, and will continue to, but if anyone has a ready answer, it would be appreciated.
HI @will martin
Where are you seeing the option in cloud? JCMA in server must be started from server. It cannot be started in cloud.
In cloud you have the option to migrate cloud to cloud. Maybe thast why you see the option?

From our jirasoftware on prem site, if I select the "system" option from the Administration cog, under "Import and Export" > "Migrate to Cloud", (so I guess the migrations dashboard) there is an option to run the migration from the cloud.
