JIRA API to add comment while we create a ticket at the same time.

How are you doing? Is there any JIRA api that we can use to create a ticket and comment at the same time.

Hello @Marija Ušakova,

Unfortunately, there is no way to create a ticket and a comment at the same time. Why would you need to do it at the same time? Why you can not create a ticket and then a comment?

Marija,

  You can use the JIRA API to create issues and add comments.  You can find documentation here: https://docs.atlassian.com/software/jira/docs/api/REST/7.6.1/

There are also plenty of examples in the documentation and in the community on how to accomplish what you are requesting.
