JIRA Comment Visibility - can you reduce the list of Groups in the drop down

We have a lot of Groups set up in JIRA

We only want certain Groups to show in the Comment restriction drop down as we have set these up specifically for JIRA comment visibility management

Can this be curated or is it a matter of all JIRA groups are shown if this is enabled in System Admin.

As I know each user sees only those groups in which he belongs.

It is feature, imho.

oh ok I didnt think about that as I am admin. Thank you. I have just had a look and they can see a shorter list and wanted it shorter as they can see confluence items in the jira drop down as well as they are members of confluence groups. Not sure I can do anything about that. But wish I could as they are really seperate systems
