JIRA Core - how to add boards without JIRA Software

Hello,

We have a installation with JIRA Service Desk on a Server. with this license we also have JIRA Core, we are experimenting to use JIRA Core for project management.

Now we would like to use a board for the overview of the project.
I read about people adding the board by going to the Board menu and adding a board to an existing project. But i don't even have the Board menu.

there is also a bit of documentation about this: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jiracorecloud/working-with-boards-800712866.html but the looks to be only for JIRA Core Cloud.

So how do i add boards to a JIRA core project?

Hello,

Boards is a feature of Jira Software. If you do not have Jira Software, then you do not have the Boards menu.

There are business boards in Jira Cloud. They are not very much configurable and they do not exist on Jira Server.
