Hi,
So when creating a branch from the button under Development on a JIRA ticket it takes me to our BitBucket account and allows me to create the branch with the ticket name.
However, when I go back to JIRA and look at the ticket the Create Branch option is still there and there is no link to the branch on BitBucket.
Any suggestions?
EDIT: A note, when looking at my atlassian account BitBucket seems to be attached to my account rather than the same account as the JIRA. I'm guessing this could be the issue? if so is there anyway to migrate it from my account to the same account as the JIRA.
Thanks,
Rob.
You will always have the option to create a branch, but you should have a Development section with the list of branches, commits, and pull requests. When you setup Bitbucket, did you allow it to connect to your Jira user database, or is it using a separate user DB? Are you using a cloud or server instance?
Hi, Thanks for the reply.
Just checked my BitBucket and under Manage Integrations I have JIRA Attached.
Using JIRA Cloud and BitBucket Cloud.

Did you integrate BitBucket and Jira using these steps?
Also check to make sure the Jira user has the correct permissions within Bitbucket. I don't use the cloud, but in my configuration I manage all of my user accounts within Jira and assign permissions as needed for each application.
