JIRA SOFTWARE - can an object (that has properties) be added to an EPIC

will this be possible/is it currently possible in JIRA SOFTWARE/CORE CLOUD

this will be supported in JIRA service management -adding objects

Hi @eleanor kerman,

This is functionality from Insight, the asset management tool included in the premium plan of Jira Service Management.

As of now Atlassian is primarily investing in integrating the product in JSM. It seems it will be possible to include an insight custom field (an object, as you reference it) in Jira Software, but that has limitations:

• You need a JSM premium license to be able to access insight features
• Only users with a JSM agent license are able to edit Insight custom fields in JSW
