JIRA Service Desk - Slack Notification for Organization

We have one project for JSD.

Each client has its own organization on the one project

each client has its own slack channel

The official jira slack integration, let's you to configure notification per project level, and there is no option to filter per organization.

How can we send notifications to slack channel per client/organization?

I have not tested this out but just an idea I thought to share.

Slack seems to support a webhook connection so I was thinking you could:

• Check if you can get a webhook per channel in slack
• Create a webhook in JIRA with a JQL filtering by organization.
• Select events you want to trigger the webhook.

Now when the webhook is fired if my first assumption is correct, the message should be added to the correct channel.

Please anyone with more experience on this topic do chip in.

I tried that, but for some reason did not work. I tried with the default Jira webhooks feature. https://shero.d.pr/hdMwAt

not sure if there is an addon and to try with that?
