Hi All,
In the jira board, we observed some behaviour where grey bar aligned to issues is keep blinking and getting many Error timeout pop-up like below
We have Jira Data Center - 9.4.14v
Can any one have any idea why this is happening?
Thank you.
Timeout issues can stem from a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, network problems, server overloads, inefficient database queries, or misconfigurations in your JIRA instance.
Here are some steps you can take to diagnose and address the issue:
Review Logs: Check the application logs for your JIRA instance. Look for any stack traces or error messages that occur around the time the timeouts are experienced.
Server Health: Assess the health of the servers running JIRA. Monitor CPU, memory, and disk usage to ensure they are within normal operating ranges.
Database Performance: If the timeouts coincide with specific actions, it might be related to database performance. Slow or inefficient queries can cause timeouts.
Network Issues: Investigate any network latency or instability between the users and the JIRA servers, or between the JIRA servers and the database.
JIRA Configuration: Review your JIRA configuration for any customizations or plugins that might be contributing to the issue. Sometimes third-party add-ons can cause performance issues.
User Patterns: Analyze the usage patterns to see if the timeouts correlate with high traffic volumes or specific user operations.
Upgrade Impact: If these issues started occurring after an upgrade or change in the system, review the changes to see if they could be causing the problem.
This is odd, no clue
