After restoring JIRA from an XML the Agile and Kanban boards have disappeared.
I am getting a few errors showing up:
On the Wallboard Gadget it states:
"The requested board cannot be viewed because it either does not exist or you do not have permission to view it."
With attachments it states:
"Error rendering 'com.pyxis.greenhopper.jira:greenhopper-epics-issue-web-panel'. Please contact your JIRA administrators."
If anyone can advise how to fix this (baby steps for stupid people please!) I'd be most grateful!
Hi @RCSLT Admin
Did you follow the steps from https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver071/restoring-data-from-an-xml-backup-802592998.html to do the xml restore?
Especially the 'Attachments' section and that the backup file should be the zipped file (not the unzipped files)
Thanks Fazila,
I followed the advice in the following article:
The attachments I thought might be missing form the XML and I'm assuming there's now way to retrospectively add them. As our server admins are not familiar with JIRA it limited our recovery.
What about the JIRA boards? They've disappeared - is it related in anyway to the attachments?
Many thanks again!

This boards will not be related to attachments.
Can you confirm that the zipped backup file was used in restore or it was unzipped and only 1 xml file was used?
Can you do a re-index again and see whether the boards appear back?

Hi
We restored using the XML backup ZIP file.
I tried reindexing and not been able to restore the boards. Also on one of our Service Desk Projects I am unable to use the sidebar due to an error:
"Unable to render element due to an error"

Could you check the logs that were generated during the import of the xml? That would have some pointers if some thing had gone wrong in import process
