JIRA search API is not working. Please let me know the reason

API is https://seneca-global.atlassian.net/rest/api/2/search?jql=project=RPD1001%20AND%20issuetype=Review_Defect%20AND%20created%20%3E=2017-12-1%20AND%20created%3C=2017-12-4. The above API should give the issue type count between the above-mentioned date range. But it is giving wrong JSON output. Wrong in the sense not getting updated daily.

And it also means that if you excecute the same JQL query in Jira and through search Api you have different results. That would be strange. It never happened to me
