I am using Jira Product Discover’s deliver function to create epics in other projects. However once created, those epics have no title when viewed using Easy Agile’s Team Rhythm. I cannot add a title although everything looks fine in Jira. I also note that if I create any stories in Team Rhythm under this particular epic they do not appear as they miss the epic link.
My hypothesis is this symptom is from the epic changes in Jira, where the Epic Name is sunsetting and the Summary is used instead.
You could confirm that by contacting the Easy Agile vendor to learn what they display in the "title" field: the Epic Name or the Summary. Here is their contact information from the marketplace: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1212078/easy-agile-teamrhythm-formerly-user-story-maps?hosting=cloud&tab=support
Kind regards,
Bill
Hi Bill
You are correct. I contacted the Easy Agile support and they responded that
When a new Epic is created using “Delivery” in JPD, critical fields are not configured or populated. This means that these Epics aren’t in the same format that Easy Agile TeamRhythm is compatible with. This includes the Epic Name field, which the User Story Map displays for Epics."
Thanks for the tip
Regards,
Steve

Good to know, and a temporary work-around could be: create an automation rule triggered on creation of an epic, and set the needed fields, such as copying the summary to the epic name.
