JQL for Initiatives of Epics that have stories in the current sprint

Hi there JQL Gurus - I am trying to pull a query that shows me the INITIATIVES associated with the work in the current sprint.  I can pull stories assigned to the current sprint and their corresponding parent link - but I want the parent of the parent too.  Is this possible?  THANKS!

It is possible, but you would need an app like JQL Tricks, Enhanced search or any of the other apps in the Marketplace that extends JQL so that you can do nested queries like the one you are trying to do.

Thank you @Mikael Sandberg !  Unfortunately that's not the answer I was hoping for - everything seems to be an add on <eyeroll>
