JQL query for swimlanes (story with story sub-task)

Danny van Kammen June 11, 2018

Hi,

I want to setup swimlanes voor de scrumboard and because of de different issue types i can't manage with just swimlanes for stories. This swimlane shows you the stories separate, when thay have "sub-tasks", but in my case they are bundled even if they have sub-tasks.

What i need is an JQL query (i know it's wrong) like:

issueType = Story with issueType = "User story task"

Thank you.

Danny

Hi  @Danny van Kammen,

If you don't use Base Swimlanes on Story in your kanban configuration, instead rely on other possibilities?like Base Swimlanes on Assignees or Epic

Hi Ollie,

We (ab)use the Scrum board for sprints, but we also pickup blocking and critical issues. So that's why i use the swimlanes by query's. Some of the developers like to have sub-tasks for the stories and i want to separate the stories like i does when you use swimlanes by stories.

What about using quick filters for blocking and critical issues? It's not the best way to do it but at least you can have both displays...

True, i'm also using this :)
