JQL running successfully in JIRA, but not running while pulling dashboard

I have a JQL, which is running successfully to fetch a list of tickets, however when I'm putting the same JQL in a custom dashboard, it's blank

If a gadget displays data from a specific project, the user's ability to see that data depends, in part, on their project permissions. I wonder if the users viewing the dashboard have permission to "browse" and view the contents of the UAT project.

I myself am not able to see, let alone the users
