JQL searches for Participants not available in Jira Cloud?

Hello all,

Our company just completed that major portion of the migration from Jira Server to Jira Cloud, and we're now cleaning up all the small issues that inevitably happen after such a bit change.

One item we didn't even think about was a JQL field that used to work in Server but apparently is not available in Cloud: Participants.

We have a several filters set up for reporting making use of this field. For example:

project in ("project1","project2","project3") AND Participants in (jsmith)

This filter now fails because Participants isn't a valid field. I've noticed that there is a "Request Participants" field, but it is locked and doesn't seem to work in anything except Jira Service Management (which we do not have).

Does anyone know a way to get this functionality back, either native to Jira Cloud or via a third party app?

Hi @Michael Thompson ,

Have you installed any plug-ins or custom extensions in your original Server? It looks like Participants is an extended query from a third party.

Yes, we did have plug-ins in place on Server, but we put the Cloud versions of the same apps into our cloud instance.
