Jira API NodeJS integration

Hi!

I'm currently developing a solution in which we have to allow users to connect to their Jira board and then report issues from our UI.

I'm confused about the documentation, what API should I use for this: 

https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/

As far as I understood, I should use the Jira Cloud Platform, right? What's the difference between Jira Cloud Platform, Jira Software Cloud, and Jira Service Management Cloud?

One more question, Is there an official NodeJS SDK?
