Jira Acceptance Criteria Field

Hi , 

I have some confusion about  Acceptance Criteria field

My question is how it is stored.

in this way

"Acceptance Criteria": "any criteria"

or

"Custom Field": "any criteria"

If it is custom field then will it be different with respect to every JIRA or remain same.

Hello,

I've seen multiple scenarios. Some cases users just add it as part of the description and in some cases they've created a custom field and made that the "Acceptance Criteria" field.

The issue I saw with including the accepted criteria to the description was that sometimes the acceptance criteria was not included, so this issue was resolved by creating the custom field and making it a required field.

When user add "Acceptance Criteria" field as part of the description , than it will be named as custom field or Acceptance Field.

You might consider keeping Acceptance Criteria in the form of a todo list.
