In the past few days I've stopped receiving push notifications regarding Jira items I've been mentioned on/assigned or subscribed to.
Email notifications are working fine.
Everything is turned on in terms of app permissions and notifications settings on my phone. I even tried removing and reinstalling the app all over again, nothing helps.
Please suggest how to solve this?
Thanks!
Hello @Hadar Muskat,
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
There is an active incident regarding push notifications that affect the Android app and our team is already working on a fix.
A new version of the app will be released soon (version 71) and it will fix this issue. Please, keep an eye on the Play Store to update your app. I checked here (using Android 10) and the update is still not available, but it should be out this week.
Kind regards,
Angélica
Dear @Angélica Luz ,
Thanks for your response.
I already have the version 71.0.533 installed (released on Mar 30, prior to your answer), that's the most recent update available on the Play store,
so I guess the fix was not released yet.
Any ETA on releasing this fix? I'm really dependent on these notifications.
Thanks

Hi @Hadar Muskat ,
Thanks for reaching out. I work with Jira mobile team and I am going to help you enable the push notification for Jira android app.
As @Angélica Luz mentioned we did had an incident related to notifications and it was addressed in version 71.0.533. However, since you are not getting a notification after update, there might something else we need to look into.
I'd suggest please create a support ticket for Jira Android so that I can find your account and Jira site details for investigation. We can also keep you updated on the progress in that support ticket.
Thanks,
Sushant

Dear @Sushant and @Angélica Luz ,
Seems like we're stuck in place.
It's been over 2.5 weeks now, and still no resolution, not to mention the very slow response rate from Jira support which raises red flag on the entire service part for a Paid product.
I Would appreciate any kind, form or shape of response and assistance on resolving this as well.
I'm lost here, and seems like besides the fact that you recognize the issue on your side, nothing further can be done, or at least nothing is suggested which is very disappointing.

Hi @Hadar Muskat,
I can see that the issue was already resolved.
The issue was caused by another app that controls the notifications (as you mentioned on the ticket).
If there is anything else we can do to help, please let us know.
Kind regards,
Angélica
