Hello,
I have JIRA (Cloud ) version and Bit bucket (data center edition) in my org which are integrated. But in the branch creation, we are unable to mandate the jira id for establishing the linkages when it is created via bitbucket. We tried a configuration by enabling JIRA issue commit checker against a project. But we were able to create branch without jira id. How can I mandate the Jira ID while branch creation happens via bitbucket?
Have you tried implementing hooks like pre-commit hooks in bitbucket to enforce a pattern in the branch name?
if that pattern does not work, then branch creation can error out.

@Vishal Biyani I have asked the team to try out this method. Need to check if this helps. I will update once I get to know. Thanks for the suggestion.
