Jira Board Grouping

Can anyone confirm what the "Board Grouping" capability indicated in this comparison chart is referring to?  Is this the customizable swim lanes or something else?

The chart is from this link: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/work-management/product-guide/jwm-vs-jsw#jwm-vs-jira-software

Jira Work Management vs Jira Software feature comparison.

Hi @Doug Winenger,

In Jira Software company nanaged projects you can create (scrum and kanban) boards based on a filter with issues from multiple projects. So: grouping multiple projects into a single board, thus allowing a single team to work on a single backlog from multiple sources.

I am quite sure this is what the term board grouping refers to.

Hope this helps!

thanks @Walter Buggenhout - that makes sense from my experience with Software and Work Management project types.  Was just scratching my head on the reference :).
