Hello all,
I am looking to do a cleanup in our jira configuration. Some of my cleanup items I have noted down are below. We are using jira cloud and I am looking to backup our jira cloud instance and load it onto an instance of jira server, which would allow me run queries against the jira DB (which can't be done in cloud). Has anyone else done this and would Atlassian provide me a free server license since its just for my one user?
I don't want to go the plugin route since we would need to pay for plugins
I have researched already some of the SQLs i would need to use to aid me in my cleanup, not looking for additional advice on the queries themselves/

Hello @Jeffrey Bistrong
I don't have an answer to your question, but I do have another question for you to consider.
Does your Jira Cloud instance include Team Managed projects? Team Managed projects are not supported on Jira Server.
You may run into issues as Jira Cloud may include additional functionality that is not supported on Jira Server. Take a look at this article:
thank you for letting me know, we do have 2 team managed projects and I am not worried about then. assuming they just won't be included in the jira server backup?
