Hello.
Just a bit of background. Company was recently acquired by another company. Both have well built out Jira instances in separate Atlassian Suites. We are looking the projects into 1 Atlassian instance.
When searching on here and googling I have seen a lot of information in regards to this not being anywhere near as straightforward as a Confluence migration (which we have already done and was pretty easy).
I did see a previous post in regards to an App called DeepClone that could do this for us, but that was from 2022.
Has anyone performed one recently?
We were thinking about just started fresh at the new location (doubling as a spring cleaning task) but we still wanted to migrate existing Jira items just for lookup purposes in case there is any information from them (big fixes, etc) we may need in the future.
@Heath Willard Atlassian wrote a bunch of documentation about copying/moving data between Atlassian Cloud sites.
Jira Cloud to Cloud migration is also covered:

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Just to make sure I got your question right. You are trying to combine the 2 instances?

@Heath Willard no it is not how it works.
there are steps before migrating any project assuming you are trying it in a test environment. You have to create custom fields, statuses, screens,… also make sure you have same plugins in both instances.
then proceed with migration
