Jira / GitHub - Commenting with Personal GitHub that are not in JIRA

My team uses personal gitHub accounts for our work code.  Our JIRA accounts are all based on our companies email addresses. 

WE've connected JIRA to GitHub, but JIRA will not allow any comments to come in because our GitHub accounts don't have permission to comment on a JIRA issue. 

The error I'm getting is:

We encountered the following error:

<Email> you do not have the permission to comment on this issue

How can we solve this?

Some Jira versions allow to configure more than one email per account using the following format:

user@domain.com,anotheruser@company.net

Does it work for your Jira version? and If so, when configuring both emails, Does github allow you to comment on Jira?

We're using JIRA Cloud. 

I tried to edit my account email with the ',' but it doesn't work. I also tried to modify my email in the JIRA settings and it wouldn't work.
