Jira Issue

Defny March 8, 2018

Hello All,

We had an issue today regarding updating a jira issue.

One of our user reported that few epic of their project is being updated by another user who is not working with them. When we checked with the second user he said he didnot do that infact he was not in office that day. Could you please help us how to identify the issue or is that a known issue.

Something is not right because it is not a known functionality in JIRA. You might want to check if there is any internal customization - like workflow post functions, scripts, automation rules, add-ons - or external customization - like third party apps using REST API causing these updates.

You can also check the user activity if the access logs are enabled. Whatever it is, impersonating in add-ons is not a good idea.
