Hi people!
I started a migration process and managed to migrate my Jira Server 6.4 to Jira Server 7.0 and now to 7.6. I am reaching the final goal which is to migrate to the cloud.
However, in the process of migrating from Jira Server 7.6.11 to Jira Cloud I need to inform the destination site (Jira Cloud) "Migrate to" (ok) and the origin site (Jira Server) Migrate from.
I am entering a valid URL (Internet), but I still receive the message: "The base URL did not validate, check and enter it again. If you feel this is correct, please contact your support team".
I would be grateful for any tips.
Cheers,
Evandro Dutra
Hi people. The problem is solved!
The problem occurs when I try to activate the "Migrate to Cloud" menu after installing the Migration tool. According to the migration team, there is a bug in the tool. The problem is easily solved with 2 steps, in "Manage Apps":
1) Locate and disable "Jira Cloud Migration Assistant"
2) Enable "Jira Cloud Migration Assistant"
The cause of the problem is that I renamed my base URL after installing Jira.
I am very grateful to the support team and, in particular, to Marcelo Horlle who supported me last Friday (9/4/20).
Best,
Evandro Dutra
Hi, i have the same problem.
Disabling and enabling the plugin does not work.
I took a copy of my production jira to do migration tests, but facing the problem of the changed base-url.
I also deleted the app, deleted the plugin cache, restarted jira, installed the jira cloud migration app with the same error result.
Hope someone can help me !

Please make sure the base URLs are consistent in 3 different places as shown in this screenshot (https://www.screencast.com/t/88OusMTMk0).
In the screenshot, where it is highlighted in yellow, it was showing a different base URL, and that gave me the error, "The base URL did not validate, check and enter it again. If you feel this is correct, please contact your support team."
My Jira environment is as follows:

Does anyone know where the URL for the second half can be changed such that when the link to assess can be correct? I manually updated the second half since I saw that it had the raw IP address displayed. Once that change was made, it worked. But now I am wondering where this can be updated in JIRA configuration.

Off course!
I was thinking about this. There is very little information on this topic.
Best!
