Hi all,
I understand that Jira Advanced Roadmaps plans currently have a limit of 5,000 issues. I have a couple of questions around this:
Are there any plans by Atlassian to increase this issue limit in the future, or introduce a more dynamic way of handling large plans?
In the meantime, what does this limit actually mean in practical terms?
Does Jira begin to show performance degradation beyond this limit?
Or are issues simply excluded from the plan view once the threshold is reached?
It would be helpful to understand the implications of hitting this ceiling, especially when working with large cross-team portfolios.
Any tips for managing or working around this (besides breaking down plans or filtering by date) are also appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Hi @Diluka Talagala welcome to the community. I found JSWCLOUD-23651 on Atlassian's Jira Site to extend the limits. I would suggest voting for and watching it for updates.
I also found this article from Atlassian regarding the limits: limits-on-plan-size-in-advanced-roadmaps/
Hope that helps.
