Jira Plugin for jenkins

We are using a plug-in which creates issue on Jira once build got failed in Jenkins. but it not working for  us and i am able made connection from Jenkins to Jira if anyone can help.

How are you authenticating? You can't use username and password with the Jira cloud API. You'll need an API token.

Have you got an error message, or some documentation related to the configuration of this Jenkins plugin? Do you know if it is cloud compatible?

I have done authentication through username & password which is configured in Jenkins.
