Jira Project Gadget not loading on dashboard

We recently upgraded to Jira server version 8.221.   Since then the project gadget is not loading correctly and continually spinning.  When I select one project it displays some information but when selecting multiple projects I get the spinning / loading icon

I would love to get this working again as our PM team uses this heavily to monitor projects.

Did any of you two ever solve it? I'm running into the same problem after upgrading to 8.22 .

it started working one day when I came in.  Not sure what happened but we did nothing that I am aware of to allow it to start functioning again.  It seems odd from my end.

For me it's the normal "Projects" under "com.atlassian.jira.gadgets:project-gadget" . It's the only gadget not working after the upgrade that I've found so far.
