Jira Reporting / dashboard features

Hi all,

I am rolling out some important capabilities of Jira in my company. We are already advanced users of Jira however we don't use metrics/ reports functionalities of Jira. We want to know cycle time, lead time, and other important 2-3 metrics. Which metrics are you using in your companies and how? How are you creating dashboards for these metrics which you show to stakeholders regularly? I understand Next gen has some limitations and so does Kanban board. How are you approaching this problem of creating dashboards for different boards/ different Jira versions?

If you want to monitor Cycle and Lead time in the Jira Dashboard Time in Status for Jira Cloud by SaaSJet - can help you. Additionally, this add-on generates other reports which could be useful for you: time in each status, assignee time, average time in status, status entered date, transition count etc. All data from plugin available for chart view and export.

Also,  you can increase your team reporting with other add-ons:

Yes, plugins are paid, but you can try and use them for free during trial period.

Thanks @Zoryana Bohutska _SaaSJet_ i had a look at them. So, the problem is: We want one set of reporting across the type of boards (scrum/ kanban) and across the type of versions (Next-gen/ Classic).As you know, currently some metrics like cycle time/ lead time are measurable on Kanban (through control charts) and Burndown/ velocity charts are possible for Scrum. Do you this level of customization is possible? Can someone write SQLs and address this?
