Did anybody else get this pop-up just a few minutes ago? Does anyone know if it went out to admins only or if it went out to all users?

Is it even valid considering the link takes you here which suggests the endpoints should have been deprecated on May, 1, 2025.

Hey @Mathew Lederman

This is due to the to the new migration change that has been mentioned in our Atlassian developer log : https://developer.atlassian.com/changelog/#CHANGE-2046.

This change notice was first sent in October 2024 and you can read the full details on this change in the linked shared.

Here are the deprecated JVIS Endpoints and Their Replacements:

  • GET /rest/api/3/search → GET /rest/api/3/search/jql
  • POST /rest/api/3/search → POST /rest/api/3/search/jql

If you're getting this error on a third-party app, please reach out to the vendor asking them to update the API endpoints being used by their app.

Thanks!

@Karan Sachdev this showed up on my Jira home page when I went back to my primary dashboard.

Is it possible that you are using plugins like Script Runner that call Jira APIs?
In this case check if the application has a Deprecation Report that reports any script to be revised.

HI @Mathew Lederman ,

Interesting I haven't been seeing this pop up my instances as an admin or user. Maybe I'll see it later and or has already been applied sometime ago.

Do check on your apps to see if there's any impact. I did see some post for some apps that got affected.
