The supported platforms page (https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/supported-platforms-938846830.html)
lists only Oracle Database 12cR1 as supported Oracle release for Jira. 12cR1 will move out of support at July 2019. When can we expect support for Oracle Database 12cR2 in Jira?
Regards,
Martin Decker
Hi Martin,
Currently only 12cR1 is supported, but we are planning on adding support for Oracle 12cR2 as covered in the feature request for this viewable here:
As noted on the requests latest update in January:
we've decided to prioritize adding a support for Oracle 12c Release 2 on Jira Server roadmap. We hope to start development after our current projects are completed.
Expect to hear an update on our progress within the next 6 months.
So make sure to add yourself as a watcher to the request to get the update, with an expected ETA on the update to drop within six months from that post which would be around July.
Regards,
Earl

Hi @win htet naing ,
Oracle 18 is not supported at this time, and the feature request for this is being tracked here:
Also an update on the 12cR2 Feature request, there has been some movement and this has been updated to waiting for release and is going to be compatible with the upcoming Jira 8.3.0 release shortly.
Regards,
Earl
