Jira Task Issue Type

Paul Wilson December 20, 2018

My development team are using the Task Jira issue type and running scrum

My application support team is using the Task Jira issue type and working off a kanban,

Both teams are using the 1 product backlog.

How can for my I see on the kanban the Task jira issue types for my application support team without seeing all of the other task issue types for my development team?

Thanks.

If the tasks are in different projects you can filter on that.  You can filter by assignee(s) and view by developers or support.  You could add a new issue type and apply that to the development team (developer task) and filter on that.  You could create a component and apply it to all the developer tasks and filter on that.  There are a lot of different options to produce what you would like.

Thanks. I created a component 'BAU Task' which then when attached to BAU Jira Issue task types, allows me to just see the BAU Jira Issue Task Types upon setting up a filter for the Kanban.

Hi @Paul Wilson,

You can also create a quick filter to focus on the issue you are following.

Quick Filters can be used to further filter the issues in the board based on the additional JQL query.
