Jira commands will not allow me to create a ticket via slack

I have integrated Jira with our team on Slack and authorized the the connection. All of the Jira commands work including "Get" "Transition" Search" "Assign" and "Project" however, the jira "create" command does not seem to be working. Whenever I select "create" it pushes back a message that says "/jira select-command" I am wondering why it won't let me create  a ticket/issue and just kicks back the "/jira select-command"? Is there something I am missing here? Please let me know!

There are a few things I'd check - first, the setup in the channel you're trying this.  Since channels can post to different projects, you may have a permissions issue either with your account, or something in the project itself (like a required field or something weird)

run the /jira connect command and confirm you're actually putting the tickets in the right project. 


I have not been able to get any errors, so I can't be sure the problem is something I can help with. I'll keep trying to see if something appears in my testing.
