Hi team,
Kindly help in resolving below query:
I need to display in Jira dashboard a gadget which displays details of issues in summation way i.e. if in any project x number of issues are raised, out of these x, how many are in progress, done, approved, rejected status.
I used filter results gadgets already, but filter results gadget doesn't provide result in summation view that way I'm looking for.
Kindly suggest which gadget can be used to display results in summation view.
Thanks
Ashima Bhatia
@Ashima Bhatia The only gadget that will work for this is the Two Dimensional Filter Statistics gadget. Please try using it you will need to have project and status as the two axis.
Hi Brant,

@Ashima Bhatia Please see the answer I already posted this is the only gadget that can provide what you are looking for. If exception is an issue type then you would use that instead of project.

Hi @Ashima Bhatia,
You could try our Great Gadgets app. One of the many gadgets that it offers, is the Cumulative Flow Diagram (CFD) chart gadget that displays the number of issue grouped by their status.
This way you will see not only the number of issues in every status, but also the trend over time. The gadget is based on a filter of issues, so you can put all the projects in one filter or to add a chart for each project.
This app offers many other gadgets that you will find useful. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to contact us at support@stonikbyte.com.
Thank you,
Danut M.

Hi Ashima,
You can try the Issue Statistics gadget and then use Status for the Issue Statistic. Or you could use the Pie Chart.

Hi John,
Thanks for the reply. But, if I want bifurcation from one particular status, how can we achieve that?
Kindly refer to below table. As per my requirement, if there is a status named 'Exception raised', which has total 10 tickets.
Now from Exception Raised status, there will be 2 transitions, either that exception will be approved(5) or rejected(5).
So, how to showcase in dashboard, that from this particular status in Jira further gets divided into 2 statuses, and how many issues are lying in each of them?
Please assist.
Total exception raised(status) | 10 | |
Status | Approved | 5 |
rejected | 5 |
Thanks

I would think that you could still use the same gadget, but just change your filter used by the gadget to narrow down the results to the 10 issues.
something like: Status was in (Total exception raised)
This assumes that the current status is either Approved or Rejected.
