Question - I have a client to whom I've taught both Scrum and Jira to. She's since licensed her own copy of Jira. She is managing her Scrums at a basic level but if she gets the types of projects she expects to, would likely hire a Scrum Master/Jira expert.
However, she and I have discussed that it would be advantageous for her to have a Jira third-party book that goes deep enough but not necessarily into all the screen and permissions stuff.
Do you folks know if such a tome exists? Or if it contains all that stuff, that the basics are pretty well laid out so she can manage a small team day-to-day before it gets into the heavy stuff. She's not a Scrum Master or PM by profession so mastering Jira is not really where she wants to be.
I like Rachel's LinkedIn courses for Jira Basics and administration. Her book, though, is geared for administration.
You may want to take a look at the Packt Publishing website to see about books from Patrick Li and Ravi Sagar.
Rachel Wright has an excellent book and also has free Jira lessons on LinkedIn. May want to see if that fits your clients needs.
