Jira is not sending notification email from only one user

Hello,

 

We are having issue with only one user. When the user creates or updates tasks, JIRA does not send any notifications to other members of the team.

The user is part of the same group and has the same settings than other users.

 

We are not able to resolve this issue.

Hello @yannickbori 

I have seen a similar issue once in Jira Service Desk where an agent was also listed as a customer. I cannot quite recall the whole situation and don't know whether you are using Service Desk but in case you do, this might be worth checking out.

Thank you for your help but unfortunately I have checked in JIRA Service Desk:

  • the user is not listed as customer.
  • the user is not listed as agent.

I am not sure what to look for now.

Hallo @yannickbori

I checked our original problem again and it turned out that the user not receiving notifications was member of an organization. So you might want to have a look whether that applies to your user as well.

Thanks for you help again.

The user is part of the same organization as all other users. There is only one organization.
