I am planning a migration of jira and confluence from an existing instance https://tenant1.atlassian.com (Site 1) into a new instance https://tenant2.atlassian.com (Site 2).
The two sites which will include Jira and Confluence (both cloud version) will not be united under the same Organization.
Right now we have Jira issues which direct reference to confluence spaces. I want to make a full backup of jira and the confluence spaces and import them into the new site.
However I wonder what happens with the existing linkage between the (old) jira issues and the (old) confluence issues.
Is there a way to redirect or update the linkage so that the copied jira issues will be reffering to the new confluence space/ pages in the new site?
The old site with jira and confluence will exist in parallel for a few weeks before we will shut them down (delete them).
Kind regards and many thanks in advance.

All the best,

thanks for your reply.
We did the jira migration end of the year which was successful.
The Confluence migration will start next week. Would it be much effort to "update/ redirect" existing confluence links to the new environment?
We would only migrate single confluence spaces into the new environment.
Kind regards and a happy new year :)
