Jira stop working on old server how to migrate database from file to new server installation

Hi we have our jira installed on old server that is after restart crashed and unable to start anymore. We have installed jira on new server I'm wondering if it is possible to transfer database and files from old server to new on? Becaouse jira is not working on old server but we have files of database and home dir.

Can your new server access the current database?  Are the new server and the old server on the same version of Jira?

If so, you could copy the files and connect the database to the new server.

thx it worked but now I have issue with attachments it show "Oops, you've found a dead link." What could be issue here ?

You copied over attachments (as well as avatars) as part of your data migration, correct? Those were all on your Jira home directory.

If you did, I would go in and create a new index for the database.
