Hi everyone, We are planning to migrate to Jira Server edition to data centre edition. We have few plugins installed in our instance including Jira toolkit plugin. As in the Jira marketplace describes they're no longer support for Jira toolkit plugin, I would like to know what if we missed when we migrating to data centre and is there any alternative solution for that?
From experience all plugins that say Server are working totally fine in Data Center.
My suggestion will be to test in lower environments, but I am sure there won't be any issues because remember Data center is server with more nodes.
Let me know if you have any questions
Best,
Fadoua
Thank you Fadoua

Anybody know why this new version doesn't install like a "normal" Jira plugin?
I currently have 2 systems. Test and Production. Both currently are running version 1.0.0
I see version 1.0.1 is compatible with my Production server (version 9.12.x)
I see version 2.0.0 is compatible with my Test server (version 10.3.x)
On both systems I don't have an "upgrade" button. So I assume I can only update this via swapping out the Jar file during an outage?

@Matt Wilson no need for a downtime to install a plugin: under "Manage apps", there is a button "Upload app" -- provided you have enabled the plugin upload feature: https://support.atlassian.com/jira/kb/how-to-re-enable-plugin-upload-in-jira-data-center/

thanks for the reply.
I currently don't have that enabled, but I should probably add it back in as its saved me some restarts in the past. ;-)
I'm assuming on this particular plugin that once I update my version to a DC approved version that the normal update mechanism will return..
