Jira user is able to assign the created issue however user's name is not reflecting in Engineer list

I added one Jira user however the user is able to assign the issue. In the engineer list user is unable to find the user name. Groups assigned for the user are Develpors & Jira-software-users. Compared with the other user ronak.shah@peel-works.com this user is reflecting under the Engineer list.  do the needful to add the below-mentioned user in the Engineer list. The screenshot is attached for your reference.

Unfortunately, I am not clear what your expectations here is.

Do you need our assistance in ensuring that a user is added to a specific group or role?

Please clarify this starting with:

1. Is the engineering tram a group or project role? If the former, please add the user directly to the group but if the later then do add the user to the role from the users and roles page.
2. Can you get us the image confirming the configuration for the engineer field? If you mapped a specific group or role to it then do let us know with images as well as an image confirming said user is indeed in the group/role

Hi Ismael,

Engineering is on a field which specifies who is working on the issue and who was worked. I added the same groups to user arvindkumar.vishwakarma@peel-works.com however same user name is not available in the engineering field.

Looks like Engineer is a custom field  of select list which your Jira administrator has created. Please contact you Jira administrator to update list (option under custom field)

Could you tell us what type of field "Engineering" is?  The part-faded screenshot makes it hard to work out what it is showing.

it is a custom filed. we mentioned the names of an engineer so that we can get to know who worked on the issue. so in that custom filed " engineer" unable to view user  : arvindkumar.vishwakarma@peel-works.com. Help me for the same.
