Jira workflow: mail approval

Hi All,

I am a Jira newbie, so please bear with me :-)

I am working on a Jira change management project. Hereby a kanban board is linked to a workflow. Basically all of this is working, but my question is: How can I let Jira generate mail notification / approvals via mail in a workflow?

Per documentation this should be possible via the "Authorize" status > "include approval step". However that check box is not showing in my workflow.

Hi @Capkan.Deniz ,

You are using Jira software. "Include approval step" is available only in Jira service management. 

You need  to make use of Jira add-ons from marketplace like JSU, Herzum Approval etc.

Keep in mind that while your workflow is not yet "active" you won't be able to add the approval configuration.
