Hi,
I've closed a sprint with many tasks in "Ready" status (we have this set as a finished status) but in the summary it appears as "Open Issues". I can't close them, the system only gives me the option to move them to the next sprint or to the backlog. Why might this be happening? Previous sprint closed normally. How could I closed them?
Thanks!
Hi @Clara Tarno , welcome to the community!
For an issue in the Sprint to be seen as Completed, it will need to be in a status which is mapped to the final column of the sprint board (when you go in board settings to map the statuses to the columns, it is the column with the green indicator).
I would also check your workflow to make sure that a resolution is being set when the issues are moed to Done - this can be achieved using a single post function.
Hope this helps!
Hi @Callum Carlile _Automation Consultants_
Thanks very much for your replay, I've just resolved it! The issue was that this week, I created a new peding status (Blocked) which occupied the last column in the sprint board. With your suggest, I've moved "Ready" status to the final of the sprint board and now I can see all this tasks like resolved in the current sprint.
One more doubt, If I've closed and sprint I can't move the tasks that are in the current sprint (inherited from the closed sprint), to the closed sprint, can I?
Thanks for your attention!

You can run a JQL search of issues that are in both your current sprint as well as the closed sprint (so this will return the issues which were in the closed sprint and carried over to the new sprint), but there's no way of easily clearing just the new sprint value from this field whilst also retaining the previous sprint values (if you want to completely clear the field then this is easy with a bulk edit).
