Job trigger from Jira to Jenkins

We have huge deployment tickets that needs to be automates 

We have the process work flow JIRA and Deployment will handle by Jenkins 

1, Ticket will be created in Jira with process work flow 

2, Developer will add the required in Jira that has to be approved 

3, Here Jira has to trigger a deploy process to Jenkins to complete the deployment 

Example: Need to create a user id in a OS or Application 

1, Jira has the required information about the the user id and environment details 
2, When we click the trigger or deploy tab, Jira has to call Jenkins and take the information from Jira and complete the task 

I Want to know is this possible if Yes please share me the document

First Want to know logically possible or not on my requirement 

Iam doing a POC, Have Jira on cloud & Jenkins at On-Premise 

And have completed the integration (Test connection successful)

I will look on the link shared, Please advice  what are the process I have to follow 

Do we have document for my required  from Atlassian
