Kanban Backlog Items Not Showing Up in Scrum Board

I am switching my project over from kanban to scrum.  I'm setting up my scrum backlog with the existing tickets in the kanban backlog.  However, I noticed that if my tickets are in the Kanban backlog, I cannot see them on my Scrum board at all.  It is only when I move the tickets into "Selected for Development" on the Kanban board do I see them in the Scrum board.  Once I move the ticket back to the backlog in the kanban board, it disappears from the Scrum board.

Any solutions here?

Thanks!

Hi Peter,

Did you check in the configuration of scrum board, if status 'Backlog' is mapped to any of the columns?

yes, backlog is mapped to one of the columns, which allows me to see them.  My question is if all my tickets will now show up in that column regardless of their status.

No, they should show up in different columns based on the mapping.
