Kanban Server Error

After upgrading our JIRA instance to v7.9.2, we are receiving a periodic error in the our Kanban board, which is the same error here;

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWSERVER-15185?_ga=2.244563969.58815788.1532816986-607507351.1525771442

However, not only has this issue been supposedly fixed in this version, we are also exclusively using English.

What else could be causing this issue?

Hi William,

Despite using only English, you haven't installed any language packs, have you?

Can you let us know what you happen to be doing at the time that you see the error in your Kanban board?  When I was seeing this error it was always with another language, so I think it's another cause.

Could you share with us the full error you're seeing so we can track down the other issue? Please also provide us with the errors that occur in the Jira logs the same time you see this in your browser.

Lastly, confirm the browser and version that you're able to replicate the problem in.

Regards,

Shannon

So it's looking like the problem was caused by the InProduct Translation plugin (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1210980/inproduct-translation-for-jira).  I guess when the translation is turned on it counts it as non-english.

Wow, good catch!

Thank you for verifying that with me, and happy you were able to resolve your issue.

Regards,

Shannon
